HHA Will Tour Two Downtown Historic Buildings on Thursday, Oct 11th starting at 6:30 PM
Mr. Sveda is known for having renovated numerous properties in the downtown Hudson area and specializes in “bringing back” smaller, older homes that have fallen into disrepair. His work in particular focuses on modifying older homes to support modern lifestyles, including addressing traffic flow issues and storage problems.
On Thursday, he will provide tours of his building at 13 East Main Street, an 1878 Italianate-style home known for years as the Alice Johnson property. Mr. Sveda bought and renovated the property to house his own offices.
HHA also will tour the century home at 33 East Streetsboro, which is now being offered for sale. The home is just around the corner from 13 E Main St.
Those interested in hearing Sveda’s remarks and touring the properties should park at 13 East Main Street and walk to 33 East Streetsboro, where the tour will begin at 6:30 p.m. The early start is due to the seasonal darkness. Refreshments will follow the tour. For more information, call 330-342-7996
