Next Meeting: Thurs, Mar 14, 7:30pm at Barlow Community Center. Tom Vince shares stories of Hudson’s long-lost saloons.
Henry Holmes House
This is an Italianate frame house with a hipped roof and a wide overhang, supported by decorative brackets. The front facade has tall parlor windows with Victorian trim; the front door case has been altered to a Greek Revival style.
Henry Holmes was a wagonmaker, born in England. He learned his trade from his father, who also made carriages in Hudson.
