Isabelle Billiter House

This Greek Revival was originally a wing of the Town/Neibel House on East Main, constructed in 1836 by Leander Starr. The mortise and tendon joinery shows original broad axe and adz marking. In 1879, the wing was moved to the current location by Sebastian Miller and converted into a home which was then purchased by Isabelle Billiter, a widow with four young children. For 90 years this was the home of first Mrs. Billiter, a seamstress, and then her daughter Jessie Billiter, a teacher.
In 2013, the house was extensively restored by Hudson architect Allan Sveda and became The Hudson Guest House.
